Corona Virus Update – 07/14/2020
We are trying to protect our customers and ourselves.
We thought we were somewhat out of the woods, pun intended, with all this. Our fishing retail was permitted to open on May 18, 2020. Many new people taking up the sport. Things were difficult but most people made it work. We had a very low & stable Corona virus issue. Last night we were informed that 35 people in Manchester and the Mountains tested positive this weekend.
We have had a mask & sanitized hand requirement the entire time. Several people have objected to wearing masks. We will still offer curbside service to anyone who chooses not to or cannot wear a mask. We are very concerned about protecting everyone and including ourselves. ALL of us have elderly or vulnerable people in our lives, we ask that you respect this simple request.
Availability of both fishing and shooting sports products is becoming difficult. Tremendous supply chain issues around the country. We are fortunate to have received most of our merchandise that we ordered at the beginning of the year. Replenishing has become much more challenging particularly with firearms and beginner fishing equipment. We still have many lures in stock along quality rods and reels. Fly fishing has been less affected. Have waders, flies, rods & reels in stock. Ammo is another story. We periodically are able to score some here & there so you just have to call or stop by. Our e-commerce website reflects what firearms are available. If it is in our store, there will be a banner across the item saying "in store today". Otherwise it is in one of our warehouses around the country. Shipping times generally are 5-10 days (that is improved from 45-60 days!) The website is updated every 15 minutes. If you want it, buy it, otherwise it can be gone the next time you look. We have lost out on many items by not "pulling the trigger" right away.
Plenty of items are on order and we are hopeful to see them arrive in the next week or so.
All of this is a huge pain and inconvenience for everyone. We get it. Check back regularly for updates. We want to extend a special thank you to those who choose to continue to business with us.
